Website terms

Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the public Vorbtech website. Signed order forms and service agreements govern paid work and product pilots.

Effective and last updated: 20 July 2026

Direct answer

What terms apply to the Vorbtech website and Argus pilot?

These website terms apply when you browse Vorbtech pages or submit an enquiry. They do not themselves create an Argus pilot or paid engagement. If Vorbtech and an organisation proceed, the signed order form, scope, data-handling record, readiness acceptance, and any service agreement control the engagement.

Plain-language terms

Read the operating rules before relying on the website

Product pages explain scope. Signed agreements create obligations.

Using this website

You may use this website to learn about Vorbtech, review public materials, and submit legitimate business enquiries. You must not interfere with the website, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape protected areas, impersonate another person or organisation, or use the website unlawfully.

Information is not a binding offer

Website descriptions, pilot outlines, estimated timelines, and prices explain current offerings but do not create a contract, reserve capacity, or guarantee acceptance. A service begins only after the parties sign the applicable order form or agreement and satisfy any readiness or payment conditions.

Argus founding pilot

The public Argus pages describe the intended founding-pilot scope: six weeks, up to ten named users, one public-source investigation, a dedicated workspace, and a fixed fee of NGN 1,500,000. The signed order form, data-handling record, readiness acceptance, and operating documents control if they differ from the website. Sensitive or source-identifying material is outside the founding scope.

AI-assisted outputs and editorial responsibility

AI-assisted analysis, summaries, translations, and answers may be incomplete, inaccurate, or contextually wrong. They are research aids, not verified facts or publication decisions. Customers and newsroom users are responsible for checking evidence, citations, translations, legal risk, and editorial conclusions.

Intellectual property

The Vorbtech name, Argus name, website design, software, documentation, and original website content are owned by Vorbtech or its licensors and are protected by applicable rights. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer, or create misleading derivative materials except where a signed agreement or applicable law expressly permits it.

Information you submit

You must be authorised to provide information submitted through the website. Do not submit credentials, confidential sources, unlawful content, or sensitive investigation records through general forms. You grant Vorbtech permission to use submitted information only as reasonably necessary to respond, assess fit, secure the service, maintain records, and meet legal obligations.

Third-party services and links

The website and Vorbtech services may rely on or link to third-party services. Their availability and separate terms are controlled by their providers. A link does not imply endorsement, and Vorbtech is not responsible for third-party websites outside its control.

Availability and changes

Vorbtech may update, suspend, or withdraw website features and may correct errors in product descriptions. We do not promise that the public website will always be available or free from every defect. Product-specific availability and support commitments exist only where stated in a signed agreement.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the public website is provided as available and without warranties not expressly stated in a signed agreement. Vorbtech is not responsible for decisions made solely from public website content or unreviewed AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and questions

These website terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any different governing-law provision in a signed agreement. Questions can be sent to admin@vorbtech.com.ng.
